A NEW ME starts now! BEAST MODE!
So it’s now June 2012. That means we’re already at half the year. Just 6 more months and 2012 is over! So I ask myself, “what have I done to make a dramatic, necessary change in my life for the past 6 months?” “What impact have I made upon my life to make a difference in it, in my family’s, and for my future?” As real and honest as I can be, I found to have disappointed myself. I’ve lost weight, and a good amount but yet have not made any physical changes towards my physical goals and dreams. By that I mean, I am proud to have lost weight but not yet build the muscle and strength to have the physique that I want.
I’ve known this for a long time but I’ve procrastinated too long. I have to go heavier on resistance. I have to put on more weight on that bar. I have to make that weight bench sink under me. If I want bigger muscles and tone, I need to put heavier weights.
So what is my WOR (Workout Regimen) going to be?
Cardio = U-JAM FITNESS
Engage in other Fitness Platforms = Body Pump, Turbo-Kickboxing, etc.
Resistance = Body Pump, Battle Ropes, Sandbags and TRX!
Time to switch gears! Time to truly test myself and see what I am truly made of! Time to stop saying “this is it” and just DO IT. I’ve got a lot of people holding me accountable for my promises of delivering my own transformation and I’m NOT going to let them down.
Most importantly, I’m NOT going to let MYSELF down. BEAST MODE til’ it hurts Baby!!!!
